Re: days vw hove

Great garage.. well recomended, kept me up to date with all work needed doing, and described every fault in lay-mans terms..

The problem arised after i had the last service at a WERKS vw local garage emoticon and it ran really " lumpy " after i picked it up, was informed it was because of the bigger cam ( engle 110 ) but it ran fine enough before !! oh well they are the experts i thought.. they know best !! It only did a few short runs around town etc... before being laid up over the winter, then coming out again with the sun, i noticed the real lack of power on the way over to Dublovin, hence booking it into Days vw..

The valve clerance on no 1 + 3 ( exhaust ? ) was tight as a ducks ass, and the distributor cap wasnt on correctlly, causing exceive wear to the inside of the cap... The mechanic a Days vw Hove couldnt belive that it had been " serviced " only about 300 - 400 miles ago, he has adjusted the clearances and hopes that it should " bed in ? " if she's not running better in a few weeks then its further ££ investigations..

A few friends have also experianced major problems at a werks emoticon vw garage, once even removing the rear tin ware from around the engine bay saying you dont really need it, and having paper tissue stuffed in the hole where the cardboard pipe normally go's ( from fan too exchanger )... paper tissue, thats nice and fire retardent !

Anyway DAYS VW HOVE... Recomended 100%

Im not here to !@#$, its just really got under my skin what has happend to us !
